Historic PlaquesThank you for your interest in purchasing a Historic Plaque for your home.
These plaques note both the construction date of your home and that your home is a Contributing Structure of its Historic District in the National Register of Historic Places. 
The Fan Woman’s Club is happy to provide Historic Plaques to Fan Homes.

Two Plaques are available, the difference being the designated Historic District:

The Monument Avenue Historic District includes not only Monument Avenue but homes near Monument Ave including portions of Franklin, Grace, Lombardy, Meadow, Allison, Park, West, Davis, and Allen.
If your home is in the Monument Avenue District but you are not in the Fan, please contact the Historic Monument Avenue here to purchase one of their plaques
With each order, we research when your home was erected based on historical records.
Our Plaques also include an image of a fan, for our Neighborhood's name.
Our neighborhood was named the Fan District due to the "fan" shape made by the array of streets
that extend west from Belvidere towards Arthur Ashe Boulevard.
Our plaques are solid brass with a protective coating so no maintenance is needed. The price per plaque is $250. There have been several price increases in both manufacturing and material costs of the Plaques over the years.
The current price reflects those increases.
The sales of these plaques is a service which the Fan Woman’s Club enjoys providing to the Neighborhood
(it's not a fundraiser).
